Yh but not often they was more thrown on the main stage while you would dance. Customers would change real money for house notes which dancers exchanged at the end of the night. But dancers would just give them to each other while dancing on the main stage rather then exchange the notes to hype each other up. So more likely get a note in your underwear of a mate then customers as they would throw them on then stage

Did you (or any of your colleagues) do the job just for the pressure of having to earn money or felt as they were being forced to do it by a partner - or did you do the job because you enjoyed it and it was entirely your choice to do it?

I think most did it for money but more because it was really good money , didn’t know any body that was forced.
I actually think men get treated worse as women tend to think they can touch the men.

No I don’t despise men , some of the regulars were really nice, and you do get to know them . Plus you talk / dance for who you choose to. A lot of dancers had their own regulars so they would come in just to see you and only have dances from you buy you gifts etc.

Did touching happen? One of uni friends did it through uni & it was definitely dodgy in terms of interaction for bigger tips.
