Do you dare to have a pyjama day?
Do you love a regular cheeky McDonalds?
Do you love it when the poo troll pops up because you love a bit of poo chat?

Oh no people on here love it when someone has a secret McDonalds, they are practically a hero.

I love kitchen roll too.

Haha this might be off the back of the thread earlier this week - i felt very judged after reading it 😊

So my question is... do you ever use a bag for life as a bin bag when you run out?

Apparently it’s a waste of money and we should use cloths instead 😂

I actually bought some lovely washable cotton cloths - non paper towels.

Now I use both them and the kitchen roll!

Judystilldreamsofhorses · 20/03/2026 18:53

Our cat is king of the kitchen counters - I practically have shares in Method and kitchen roll. Cloths skeeve me out, no matter how often they are washed. We have and use a tumble dryer, but don’t own a car 🤷🏻‍♀️

SoScarletItWas · 20/03/2026 18:57

I sometimes* let my bath towels be used <mops brow> more than once.

*all the dirty time

scoobydeedoo · 20/03/2026 18:58

Do you whispersinlowerclass use fabric conditioner?!

(I do, I love fabric conditioner and I don't care if people don't like my artificial smelling clothes)

RememberBeKindWithKaren · 20/03/2026 18:59

I only change bed sheets every few weeks . ( taking cover from incoming missiles)..Also been known to wash towels at same time as kitchen hand towels and dish cloths. naughty me

AngelicaArchangel · 20/03/2026 19:18

Do you let your husband have sex with you if he's failed to sanitise his entire body with bleach?

Andnowshesatoddler · 20/03/2026 19:26

Do you ever leave your washing to get "darked on"?
I peg mine out the night before in the hotter months.

Waitingforthesunnydays · 20/03/2026 19:28

I don’t see an issue with any of these things. Couldn’t live without kitchen roll, would definitely buy a new car if I could afford not to do it on finance and would love to live in a new build where the boiler doesn’t break down every month and the roof doesn’t constantly need repaired! Why do MNers hate them??

Do you have a…. {{looks around furtively…whispers…}} toilet brush?

Is it a thing on here to not use toilet brushes? How do they clean the skid marks? By hand?!

Redcandlescandal · 20/03/2026 19:32

No shoes allowed in my house and I never answer the door or the phone if I don’t know who it is. Poppers in can fuck off.

I have kitchen roll and a toilet brush. I use a plastic washing up bowl. I take my dog with me nearly everywhere I go.

"Poppers in can fuck off" I need this on a door mat 🤣🤣🤣 I HATE an unannounced visitor

When that happens you buy a new toilet. Obvs!

likelysuspect · 20/03/2026 20:16

I dont see that as wasteful or wrong, just a poor choice of how you use finances but thats your business

I see your new cars and raise you a wood burner

AMA!!

Bleach

And plenty of it.

IMTHECRAZYOLDLADY · 20/03/2026 20:27

I would love to live in a new build. I use kitchen roll, tumble dryer (it’s in use as I type),newish car, even put the heating on just because I’m cold and I live in an old house which I really should dust more often

wjn · 20/03/2026 20:27

I have a toilet brush.
I let tradespeople and other visitors piss and shit in my toilet.

Admittedly I'm one of those who doesn't open the door if I'm not expecting anyone because it's always a parcel for someone else or someone trying to sell me shit or people begging on behalf of charities.

Waitingforthesunnydays · 21/03/2026 07:07

I’d actually feel pretty angry and resentful if I went for a shit in someone’s home, flushed it, then discovered I’d left skid marks with nothing to clean them off with! Just cos someone thinks they’re above having a toilet brush in their bathroom. Ideally leaving skid marks would be a perfect way to bring them down a peg or two..but then there’s the embarrassment side of it. Hard to decide if enduring the embarrassment is worth it to teach them a lesson 🤔

GarlicFound · 26/03/2026 16:17

I out-waste you all. My carbon footprint's nearly invisible, but that's because I'm too poor to have a car or holidays. I do use kitchen roll, use a tumble dryer for the big things ... and I smoke. A lot! I might even be the last chain smoker in the UK.

It is the reason I'm so poor, obviously. But, OP, I feel you're not wasting hard enough. On your comfortable income, you have so much more wasting potential! Do you use a coffee pod machine? Have you ever bought a new thing because you couldn't be arsed to wash or mend the old one? How many pairs of unworn shoes do you own?
