AMA!

And I will try, where I can, to name names.

OP posts:

Can you talk us through your bad encounter with Lewis Hamilton?

Cantrushart · 17/02/2024 17:25

I heard from someone working in an airport that Kate Winslet was a nightmare passenger. DH doesn't believe it. Did you encounter her and can you settle the argument?

Did you ever have any Spice Girls on board? In particular Baby Spice, I always wonder if she is genuinely as lovely and sincere in real life as she comes across on telly (I'm hoping she is)

A friend of mine was Emma & Jade's neighbour for a few years and said they were lovely people and very friendly.

Sorry for derail OP

Surprised Simon Cowell was a gent.

I've met Simon Cowell on several occasions and he is a very sweet man, with an endearing personality. Very cigarettey though.

PetsPalace · 17/02/2024 17:47

Princess Anne was warm and friendly when I met her. She was probably bored to tears but was professional and took time to speak to lots of people including young children. Something went wrong near the end and she wasn't phased, certainly not rude. One of her security officers was a bit arsey but she just laughed it off.

MrsDilligaf · 17/02/2024 17:55

Princess Anne is lovely, very warm and down to earth. A close relative worked for a number of years in very close quarters to the senior royals, they still see Princess Anne from time to time at charities they are mutuallt involved with and hasn't got a bad word to say about her.

munchmagic · 17/02/2024 18:00

@Barbiefromtheblock thank you for that! I'm happy to hear one of my favourite celebs is genuinely nice and how lovely for your friend to be their neighbour.

stormonasummerseve · 17/02/2024 18:11

I had a friend who worked in a similar role and loved George. She was convinced he was gay though.

It's a open secret that he has a boyfriend that he's bought a rather delightful villa in lake Como for, not too far from his own

LoftyAndWendyJoinTheCrew · 17/02/2024 14:40

Nope, I don't sign anything.

There was and still is regular paps that snap pictures of who flies there. Although it's hard to get pictures really due to the location.

Plus this was years ago.

If you didn’t sign anything, do you ever get the urge to sell your story?

lol this old bag whos never had to do a days work in her life & so lets face it... hasnt "doesnt suffer fool's" ?!? like is that just a fancy way of saying she doesnt put up with people who she feels wastes her time?/is beneath her?/isnt as smart as her

like seriously when has this woman ever had to actually deal with a 'fool' who wasnt put in front of her purely due to status (her own!) & circumstance (theres)

Maybe when someone tried to kidnap her at gunpoint? Maybe when the press were awful to her and compared her to Diana all the time? She's meant to be quite humble by a lit of accounts. Doesn't mind visiting places a lot of royals wouldn't, has a quite 'normal' way of life compared to what she could have (her sitting room looks quite like mine)! 😅

Noshowlomo · 17/02/2024 18:21

Got a feeling the MIC twat was Spencer Matthews

Likewise. I know someone who worked at Windsor castle. He loved princess Anne and the queen.
My husband was once with him when Princess Anne was on an official engagement near where we live and she came straight over and said “Hello xxx, how lovely to see you” and just had a lovely normal chat with him.

LoftyAndWendyJoinTheCrew · 17/02/2024 14:38

Biggest twat was someone from made in Chelsea, who was notoriously hated at the time for treating women like shit.

Please don't say it was Spencer cos I'll be gutted if it was.

Unicorntearsofgin · 17/02/2024 18:30

Can you name names on the biggest twat? Or at least give a clue

LadyEloise1 · 17/02/2024 18:32

"...Was it Wiliiam ?"
Re the Elnett complainer.
You are very bold @SparklingCyanide 😂

dizzydizzydizzy · 17/02/2024 18:37

Where was the airport?

Maybe you should do some research, she's worked a hell of a lot.

And 'old bag'? Do you really think that's appropriate?

Cantalever · 17/02/2024 18:47

Did you ever meet Antonio Banderas?

OdeToBarney · 17/02/2024 18:50

Jk8 · 17/02/2024 16:59

No offence but "doesnt tolerate stupidity" by somebody who's never had to live in the real world or work a proper job outside of her interests & family obligations doesn't really have great connotations though

She like everybody else would be forced to tolerate a great bloody deal of stupid people if she'd had to work her way up/buy her own house/sort out her own childcare/ deal with divorce/animals in her own time 🫠

You're not a royalist, I get it 🤷‍♀️

  1. She had police guards round the clock since childhood. It's absolute basic knowlege to never go with somebody trying to kidnap you (look up - "secondary crime scene") obviously somebody out on the streets with no support will natural panic/try & save themselves by keeping the situation calm but somebody well prepared should know better

  2. it was fergie/everyone who was compared to Diana & Diana was nowhere near as popular as people make out until she died

IfYouLikedItThenYou · 17/02/2024 19:00

If I wanted to find a boyfriend who had the sort of money to fly me from a private airport, where would you suggest I go/what should I do?

Were there any common threads you discerned amongst the celebrities in terms of character? (as in having observed them would you say that certain type of characteristics/behaviours are more likely to lead to celebrity than others)

MandyMotherOfBrian · 17/02/2024 19:02

What was your actual job title?
How did you get the job?
And finally, what qualifications did you need?

Hibye23289 · 17/02/2024 19:06

No offence but all we've had on this thread is talk of Spencer Matthews, Lewis Hamilton and Nicole, Simon Cowell numerous times and Princess Anne and George Clooney, is there anything actually juicy or were they all just walking off a plane in a distance?

ArthurWrightus · 17/02/2024 19:09

I'm presuming from your comments you've had the same experience as me with celebs. The bigger they are, actually the nicer they are? And the influencers and hardly famous are much more 'affected' and treat people poorly.

Twilight7777 · 17/02/2024 19:25

Any dodgy Celebs that you thought should be investigated by the police?
