Is there a little badge or some such you could use to signal to others your disinterest in mince? It must be hard having to explain yourself all the time. We had an event at work celebrating the contribution of those who do not like mince and people brought cupcakes. We all ate them and chatted and it was great for raising awareness.

Ah also anti mince here but a grade above you. Mince in any form is OUT, so no burgers or faux mince either. Terribly outing but this has proved to be very significant in my life! I also make a mega chilli with strips of meat that everyone raves about 😁

Ooh you’re a hardcore mincehater.

I think for me it is literally just the texture (and it’s definitely a mental block) that I can’t stomach. So once it’s pressed into a burger it’s fine.

I do sometimes get the ick from burgers though so wouldn’t order one in a restaurant just in case. BBQs are fine.

Urgh mince is vile! It's like someone's chewed it and spat it out! Bleuggh! Solidarity there!

Has it occurred to you, that when chewing chunks of meat, your teeth are in fact "mincing" the meat. Can you then swallow and enjoy the "mouth-minced" meat, or do you swallow chunked meat whole like a snake with a mouse?
