Boring Friday night for me, ask me anything!

Well done you...I too was 'addicted' to it
I loved everything about it - the getting it, the anticipation, the chopping, cutting and snorting...every Friday night with a bottle of wine and/or Voddy.

Often whole weekends; sometimes leaking into the week also - i recall being on phone conferences and going on mute and chopping up in the back ground and using whilst I was at work. Btw- NEVER send an email when you are on it.

Then the day came 12 years ago now- I felt I would die. Long bank holiday weekend and friends to stay- we were all on it. Lunchtime onwards- big meal first and then we got going.....on and on until 9.30 pm...when I felt a sharp pain in my chest- rapid panic attack and then there was me doing a deal with God. I recall walking up and down the garden for 2 hours thinking all the time I'm walking, I'm alive....Never used since and have NO wish to as that last time i realised i could die quickly and suddenly. I had NO respect for that drug. I do now - its a bastard that steals souls...I got away with it as it stands at the moment and I'm grateful. Thanks for your insights and well done - Fear was my reason to stop and i have spent a lot of time being frightened since - good luck and again well done - its the best thing i ever did
