Are there any instances where the birth parents would be contacted before the child is old enough to seek contact themselves i.e. If the adopted child needed an organ donor/was seriously ill or actually died!

As someone who was adopted at birth my parents are my parents end of. This didn't change when my mom became pregnant with my sibling ethier. I had a great childhood and anyone that says to me my adoptive parent are somehow inferior or my biological mothers really my family can do one. So and for the record I am not depressed or suffering from attachment issues ether.

Oh and margolovbutter why would I need to grieve for a famly I never had. I had a close and loving family thank you. Who gave you the right to speak for all adopted people. You don't speak for this one.

Do you think you would have felt more in tune with your a family if you had not known you were adopted? I know someone who is a late discovery adoptee (mid 50s) and she is devastated and wishes she had never found out.
