Dolly Parton apparently misguided on trans issues

I saw the AIBU thread today, and I was uncomfortable with criticism so soon after her passing. However, I'm now wondering if Dolly Parton did actually support the things articles have claimed, or if she was trying to be diplomatic and her words were quoted as supporting TRA aims. I hope the former.

Exactly. The jam sliding around in a gelatinous blob as you tried to spread it over the cream? No! Fruit scone always.

Although I am not fussed about the butter. Depends how dry the scone is.

I use a traditional dolloping technique taught to me by an experienced sconnaisseur - incidentally it's pronounced to rhyme with stone...until you've eaten it and then its pronounced to rhyme with gone.

This ancient wisdom is obviously just between the two of us😎, like the jam, don't spread it.

Not only do my family have arguments about the pronunciation of scone, we also have arguments about which is the ‘posh’ version.

Mind you, I remember the Christmas where it all blew up over a drop of watter.

I think Dolly would have had a good laugh at us and our scon/scones/butter/jam/cream debate and raised us her buttermilk biscuit mix with a dollop of butter.

I quite like candied yam too. The marshmallow topping negates any beneficial GI from the sweet potato though.

I read that biscuit actually refers to 'twice cooked', so what you're baking could come out with the properties of dwarf bread.

At that point you could pronounce your scone as skuːn - which wiki tells me is the correct pronunciation for the stone.
