Well, someone had to speak up for women and kids while the rest of polite society and policy makers kept their heads below the parapet.
What makes you very cross indeed is not so much that JKR said what she said, but that you know the vast majority wholly agree with her, and that despite all your efforts, you just can't shut her up.

That's the "justification" here. That the right to a "quiet" life for trans means they don't have to declare sex, they can just "portray" the gender identity or presentation they wish to the world, and the world can fit around them.
So the likes of those accessing women's dating sites, in this so-called trans inclusive perfect world, a man can access these sites, not declare anything in his inalienable right to privacy, display his female gender, and that must be accepted absolutely and without dissent, because his right to a quiet life, and a life free of transphobia, means his movements in such circles are totally consistent.
Anything that "outs" him as not female, oh, let's say the creator of the dating site IDing him correctly at the onset, or the woman on a date screaming about the cock sitting opposite her, is victimising him.
So, not only do these paraphiliac men want full access, they even demand their full privacy to do it.

JKR is a hero and should be respected for telling the truth and stating fact, not attacked and abused by trans ideologists.

Your opinion of what will happen in the future does not matter here or change the lack of academic rigour in the conduct and reporting of this ‘research’ (and I use the term loosely). Falling short of academic standards would be cause for concern whatever the subject matter. Strongly held opinions are no excuse for sloppy work, indeed, they should make one extra careful to reflect on and be aware of possible (probable) bias - and any reputable university teaches that in mandatory research and ethics training.

I agree with all my heart. Young people have been tricked into taking on huge debts while wasting several years for a piece of paper and some mediocre teaching, often in pointless subjects. Then comes a stream of trivial and badly researched papers, to continue the downward trend.

The one thing that raises my spirits a bit is discovering that word that sums it all up: enshitification. Thank you for adding that to my vocabulary!
