Researchers at Rutgers University found that those normalising transgender beliefs were more likely to be supportive of political violence.

Here's an NYP article summarising the report findings

whatever that’s meant to mean on its own

Here you go.

Stonewall uses ‘trans’ as an umbrella term including (but not limited to) transgender, transsexual, genderqueer, genderfluid, non-binary, agender, trans man, trans woman, trans masculine and trans feminine.

They used to include cross dressers, but for some reason they dropped that a couple of years ago.

The most recent census information is not accurate because people were confused by the question, but if you assume that those who wrote in a gender identity different to their sex did understand the question, a third identified as neither male nor female.

Back then there were transsexuals and transvestites and Hayley was transsexual. Everyone knew what transvestites were, although a lot of people seem to have forgotten now that both groups have been amalgamated into 'transgender' or just 'trans'.

That amalgamation was also a deliberate invention from the 1990s, designed to extend rights to part time cross-dressing men -

The Trans Umbrella Is Older Than You Think

Years ago I was a ‘trans ally’. I thought ‘trans’ meant transsexual and my idea of a ‘trans woman’ was someone who had had genital surgery and was quietly going …
