Now that the BBC has been forced to accept their bias and everyone seems to be u-turning, on both gender and the Isreal/Palestine war, how can the Guardian continue to employ and therefore support the views of Owen Jones?

Once upon a time bisexual men wouldn't "come out" because they feared getting their heads kicked in if people (other men) perceived them to be gay. Tbh it feels like progress if the main thing keeping bisexual men in the closet now is the hardship suffered because some women aren't "willing" to date them.

Opponents of trans rights are losing, and they know it, hence the viciousness. There are brilliant trans voices emerging – like Shon Faye, Paris Lees and Munroe Bergdorf – but the media surely have a responsibility to provide a greater platform. And just as gay rights was once seen as the preserve of the “loony left”, trans people are desperately lacking in influential media allies.

Yes. Actual homophobia is still with us and resulting in violence, sadly.

Claiming that women not putting out is some kind of phobia is both disgusting misogyny and diminishing of the real and existing issues.

I see Owen apologised to a gay man who said he wouldn't sleep with bi men.

Claiming any kind of aversion to any person as a sexual partner is in any way something to be tutted at disapprovingly is fucking vile. Women are free to turn down men or not consider dating them for absolutely any reason at all.

The working class aren't exactly the most tolerant bunch of people in the UK so I'm not surprised he isn't chomping at the bit to champion their concerns these days.
