I couldn't see that anyone's started a thread for September yet. Seeing as it's tomorrow thought I'd start one now. Seems AF arrived for a few of us at the same time so looks like we'll be in sync over the coming months.
How is everyone doing?

CD23 today and the Lh tests have darkened! Premom says it has risen to 0.66 so something might be happening. But I often have rises like this and then no ovulation so not getting excited until I get a positive reading.
Anything happening for you today?

Sadly still nothing. And I've done 3 tests today. Honestly literally pissing away money 😂

0.6 sounds hopeful though, I'll keep my fingers crossed!

Hi everyone, joining in again for September, hopefully. Sadly my positive test last month turned into a lot of bleeding and an early miscarriage. Really hope my cycle comes back quickly

I agree, I've got weirdly calmer as the months have gone on. Don't get me wrong I still have the odd down day but it feels so much less all consuming than it used to. I feel like I'm focusing on it a lot less as cycles go by. I think it does help to have some tests booked in as well as it feels like we're doing something in a process where almost everything is out of our control.

The clinic where we booked our private test said we could have a refund as I cancelled within 25 mins of making the booking but they called us back later to say they've already put an order in with the lab so now they're going to keep £195. I'm pretty sure they can't do that and I paid by credit card so I've put a complaint in and if they try and keep the money I'll do a charge back. I'm not paying £195 for a sample pot, so ridiculous. The consultant told us it was a 6-7 month wait not a 6 week wait so that's the only reason we booked in the first place, beyond fuming haha.

Let me know how you get on with your hycosy, I've got my scan a week on monday so hoping I can get one scheduled for the next cycle if things look ok. I've got it in to my head that if I can get my tubes flushed I'll fall pregnant. Might not be true but gives me something to look forward to haha.

It definitely helps having the tests booked in. It helps you pass over some of the control to others. We are lucky that today there is a lot more they can do, more than ever.

I know what you mean about being very hopeful about hycosy increasing your chances. I'm a bit fearful of it as apparently it tends to be more painful if your tubes are blocked and mine may well be considering how long I've had these symptoms and I've never conceived ever (in around a year of trying). It isn't always possible to unblock them also, only if they have minor blockages apparently. But one of the advantages it that no matter what the outcome, you usually get to see the consultant in the same appointment and they will go through next steps with you, whatever that may be. So there hopefully shouldn't be too much more waiting at least mentally about what to expect afterwards.

That's terrible about your refund, but good you used credit as you should be able to claim that back if they mess you around. Best of luck with that! Your upcoming scan is an ultrasound, right? Good luck with that, have you had one done in recent times? From my last one just over a year ago (to investigate mid cycle bleeding) they did find that I have one small fibroid so whether that's contributing to my issues I'm not sure. My hycosy is in the middle of October so a bit of a wait and I'm due another period before then but hopefully it'll be the last one before we get at least a few answers. 🤞 🩷

I’m on my 3rd day of spotting / light bleeding mostly only when wiping. But this is the first sign of anything 7 weeks after MMC in July. I don’t think I can call it AF yet but if it doesn’t turn into full flow by tomorrow I think I may have to assume it’s just a very light unusual period, and use the timing for the purpose of starting ovulation tests again.

TMI: Decided to count yesterday as CD1 with the light bleeding, woke up this morning with nothing overnight but when wiping more red blood / clotting had collected, so this is definitely more than spotting. Why is it so difficult sometimes to work out CD1?!

I have ordered digital clearblue ovulation tests and have LH strips ready to start tracking. Feeling hopeful for this cycle 😊

Is anybody else around CD2?

Fairiebee · 06/09/2026 07:16

3DPO today and I am feeling that days pass really really slow until 8DPO that I will start testing.

I believe I am CD1 today! My cycles are around 30ish days (32 before my first was born) so be interesting to see when I ovulate!

DancingThroughLife02 · 06/09/2026 07:29

I think I’m out this time too, as period due in a day or two and test still stark white. It’s getting to the point where I don’t know what I’m missing really as we definitely covered the fertile range and all days around it.

Trying hard not to get too down about it and trust that it’ll happen when it happens. I know that it’s only going into month 5/6 but it does feel like it’s taking a while now.

Yep mine have been around 29-32, with a couple of longer ones. I’ve only tracked ovulation in one cycle and I got a peak on CD22! So not sure when I will start CB tests… last time I went through a whole pack of 10 and never got the peak, moved to LH strips and found it within the next couple of days. I might take similar approach this time!

have you used the CB test in previous cycles? I think sometimes it builds a baseline, so a new cycle might be more reliable using the same digital stick thingy.

I have the fertility monitor which I’ll be using along with LH strips (although first baby, I only ever got high and we got it on for like 2 weeks straight 😂)

start the LH strips as soon as AF finishes would be my advice!

MinnieTux · 06/09/2026 09:23

I am also returning from the August thread. Hello! Been taking coq10 for about 6/7 weeks now. Think it lengthened my last cycle (AF missing for a few days), but this time I've ovulated super early! The strongest ever LH yesterday on CD11. I wasnt going to test this early so glad I did! Feeling more laid back this month but let's see how that goes as I move into the TWW.

Silverglass · 06/09/2026 09:24

8dpo and negative test again. We had a positive at this point when I was pregnant so I always think im out even though I know it’s early. My temperature has been trending down too so I’m not particularly hopeful, although I’ll still be pleased if my luteal is longer than eleven days this cycle as shows it’s settling more.

Thank you! 😊 Yes I used CB last cycle (I actually conceived but it ended up being early MMC, so this is first AF since). I got low for 2 days, then high for 8. I switched to Lh at that point just because I didn’t want the expense of another pack 😂. Caught the actual LH peak using the strips after that, testing 2-3 times a day.

Yes I think I’ll start CB after AF finishes as this cycle could be unusual!

Ah really sorry to hear that! Hope you’re doing better now ❤️ if you can, try and use the same digital stick as it probably now has some data! But yeah, those things are not cheap 😂

I would have missed my peak if I didn’t test more than twice! It happened within a matter of hours! I find the wait for peak worse than the 2WW, hopefully this month brings good luck to both of us 💚

Sorry about the BFN. I know what you mean, when you feel you are doing everything right, hitting your peak days, and it’s still not working! So upsetting! 5/6 cycles does feel like a long time❤️

I was saying to my DH yesterday that it’s feels like madness, doing the same thing each month hoping for a different result. But not sure what else we can do other than keep trying really 😢

8 dpo is still early, though I’m sure it’s hard to have hope when you got a positive at this point last time. I’ve still got my fingers crossed for you. Do you think you’ll test again or wait for AF?

Thank you ❤️. Oh I didn’t realise you could keep using the same stick, I may have thrown it, will have a look later!

Yep, I hope we don’t have to wait too long for our peaks! Good luck!

Just making my place here.

It pains me to say I’m joining again, after falling pregnant first cycle TTC baby number 2 in July. Found out it was a MMC a few days ago, when I should have been 8/9 weeks but it was measuring only 6 and no heartbeat. Utterly devastating. I’m currently going through medical management and I think the worst of it was yesterday. Still a few weeks away from testing negative, so nowhere near in the physical or mental space to be TTC yet, but hopefully…sometime soon later in the month or next. I could use the distraction of being invested into other people’s TWWs though. Wishing everyone good luck and lots of positives in this group! ❤️‍🩹🌈

@TinyBitChaotic I'm sorry for your loss :( I hope you are ok and being supported.

@HelloDarknessmyoldfrenemy how are you finally getting on? I think I might nearly be there. I got a 0.6 this afternoon (baseline is 0.2). I'll keep testing but I'm pretty hopeful this is it...
