Oooh, that rise sounds good! Are you going to test again this evening?

I “peaked” yesterday at 0.84. Today, CD24, it has dropped to 0.7. So Premom is saying that was it and today is ovulation day but I’m not really feeling it. I haven’t got much fertile mucus nor feeling ovulation pains or anything. So I think I tried and failed. The last time my body did this I took 25 days to try again and actually ovulate! Feeling rather annoyed about it. Will keep Lh testing and see what happens with that and whether the little CM I have dries up or not. I normally go completely dry after ovulation so that is a pretty easy sign.

How annoying 🙁 hopefully it’s a little quicker this time

So annoying you didn't get a higher number, but you might still have ovulated. I have some wondfo pdg (progesterone) tests that I keep handy for times like this - you use them about a week after you think you might have ovulated and they tell you if you have high progesterone - if you do it's pretty certain you did ovulate. The tests are expensive that's the only thing, but you would only need one or two to know if that was it or not. Sometimes the LH peak is really really short so it might be you did go over 0.84 and the tests just missed it. Definitely DTD just in case!

Oooh, just looked those progesterone tests up on Amazon and definitely am tempted! But why do they have to be so expensive??!! Especially when the pregnancy and Lh ones are so cheap? Bizarre!

In the hope that this is ovulation I have dtd the last 3 nights in a row 😂 so definitely covered in case I get lucky and did just miss my peak with the tests.

It is super annoying but not sure there is much I can do about it ☹️ I’m currently taking mayo-inositol to try to regulate my cycle, not sure it’s helping much though.

Has anyone tried Soy Isoflavones? There seems to be some evidence it’s good/ hormone balancing for people with PCOS but then other studies seem to think it could throw your hormones even more out of balance! But maybe in the absence of anything positive happening I will try that next cycle?

@HelloDarknessmyoldfrenemy gutted but it's gone down to 0.5 this evening. I'm feeling like a complete moron, I tested 3 times yesterday and got so disheartened that I didn't even bother to test until 3pm today so I don't know if I missed my peak this morning. I'll test again in the morning and see what happens.

I know, so annoying the progesterone tests are so expensive, fortunately you don't need as many, just a handful per cycle and I only use them on cycles when I haven't seen a clear positive lh peak

@LavenderSweetPea Oh no! How rubbish!! That makes two of us! Really hope you just missed the peak when testing and peak happened early morning. It is so difficult when our bodies do the wrong thing like this. Do you get ovulation pain?

My main tell is CM. If I dry up I’ve ovulated. So think I’ll know by Wednesday one way or the other, but might order some of those progesterone tests to make sure! I normally keep testing on Lh tests daily to make sure it’s not rising again if I don’t get a clear peak.

Same here - I keep looking at it and basically imagining there is a line there but realistically i know there isn’t

@HelloDarknessmyoldfrenemy no I don't usually get ovulation pain (every now and again but not reliable) good news for me, I've tested again this morning and got a 1 in premom so this is it! Definitely seeing some fertile cm now. Don't know why I had such a slow gradual rise yesterday, not typical for me. I'll keep testing to make sure I don't miss my peak but I'm presuming ovulation will be in the next couple of days.

Probably should explain that although this is my first month TTC for baby 2, I've been tracking my cycles and ovulation testing ever since my period came back about 18 months ago so I'm pretty familiar with my 'normal' (albeit my normal can vary quite widely!)

Good luck @HappyBlueDonkey @Silverglass and @Saffie920 hopefully you all get BFPs this month. Anything before 10dpo is very hit and miss, there's still time for lines to appear! (Also if you get line eyes do share, I love a line eyes thread!)

My husband thinks I am bonkers, as always, but ChatGPT is backing me up 😅 I really need to be more patient and wait longer to test but it’s 8dpo and here I am again! I feel like I can see the tiniest shadow…

have you done a digital? can we see a pic of the strip test 👀 my positive came at 8po first pregnancy (although, a shadow in the morning and not much darker in the evening! but digital + came next day!)

Unfortunately have to admit I still haven't done any temping :(
I really struggle with getting into new habits/routines so it doesn't even cross my mind until it's too late. You're supposed to do it as soon as you wake up before talking, eating, getting up, etc. so if I forget to do it first thing then I've missed my chance!

I can photo a shadow line on any of these tests unfortunately, the channel for the dye casts enough of a shadow to look vvvf on all of them. Here’s the last two I did and definitely indents (excuse the fluff they were testing on my jeans ).

Can see something on the bottom one? I found the best tests to do early (maybe 9dpo onwards) are the clearblue ones with the red flashing light! I would maybe do a test this evening before bed! 8dpo is so early

thanks, totally agree - I think it’s just cos my last pregnancy the very first test was absurdly faint like this and I thought I must be imagining it. But it was genuinely positive (albeit ectopic) - so think I have my hopes up a bit!

Set a reminder on your phone! I have to do it with my ovulation tests.

I agree, I don't think I see anything on the top one but the bottom one maybe a little something? Test again tomorrow, I'll keep my fingers crossed

Been there, done that. Ok but it's still early. Let's hope there is actually a line tomorrow

10 DPO, do you think this is positive? Taken a lot of other tests as well and they also have this shadow/line ish.
