The Sunday Times has several articles about trans issues today, so I thought I put them all into one handy post for anybody who likes to read them.

Brighton school:

Parent's story:

Dr Webberly:

Really good to see Andrew Gilligan in that first article expose the lies about suicide, and highlight the terrible consequences of children transitioning. At last.

Igneococcus · 25/11/2018 07:45

And the comments aren't moderated, not at the moment at least, always good to see that.

OP posts:
TimeLady · 25/11/2018 07:56

Yes, great comments. It's being called out as grooming at last

QuietContraryMary · 25/11/2018 08:03

Oh that crook Webberley hasn't been sentenced yet?

Absolute scumbag

BernardBlacksWineIcelolly · 25/11/2018 08:35

really good to see serious coverage of rapid onset gender dysphoria in the mainstream media

and that article about scotland shocked me to my core. i hadn't really figured out until now what the 'named person' scheme was all about. but one of the comments points out that the state have a terrible record of safeguarding children in their care. why the hell would you want to cut parents out in this wholesale way? it's bloody terrifying.

TimeLady · 25/11/2018 08:35

Also covered in Rod Liddle's column too

From the web page of an infant school in south London. A lovely little girl aged six or seven is holding up a card. They’ve been learning about Martin Luther King and the girl has written on her card: “I have a dreem if bois cood go to the saim toilet as gerls.” Nope, not kidding. That’s the poor mite’s dream, hammered into her young head by the Stalinist liberals who run the place.

.......

Here’s a suggestion. In infant schools, don’t mention the letters LGBT at all, ever, or anything to do with them. Don’t worry about whether the loos are suitable for transitioning five-year-olds. Drop the odious propaganda. And that might leave you enough time to teach the kids how to spell.

QuietContraryMary · 25/11/2018 08:48

But James Billingham says rapid onset gender dysphoria is a transphobic myth spread by murderous feminists

ItsAllGoingToBeFine · 25/11/2018 09:01

Re the Webberleys - didn't I see somewhere that Dr Christian was joining them?

HandsOffMyRights · 25/11/2018 09:13

Wonderful, thanks Andrew.
Susie Green, I hope you're reading.

scepticalwoman · 25/11/2018 09:19

Outstanding articles and the comments below Andrew Gilligan's are fantastic. Hopefully this will be picked up during the week and more pressure put on our spineless politicians to comment and take some action.

Popchyk · 25/11/2018 09:25

I love Andrew Gilligan.

No soft soaping, no tiptoeing around. Just lays it all out there.

The comments for the first article are great: "This is officially sanctioned, state sponsored grooming".

sackrifice · 25/11/2018 09:26

At some point, a politician other than David T Davies will crack. They have to surely?

LordProfFekkoThePenguinPhD · 25/11/2018 09:27

So the doctor hasn’t been sentenced? How long does it usually take between being found guilty and deciding their fate?

sackrifice · 25/11/2018 09:29

I don't know, but I am hoping that because they are now also investigating her husband, it could be a bigger investigation and thus more mitigating circumstances and a bigger sentence.

I am an eternal optimist.

LordProfFekkoThePenguinPhD · 25/11/2018 09:30

The husband too? I hadn’t heard that. I thought they had a business in Spain?

sackrifice · 25/11/2018 09:31

From the above article:

Last week, however, the GMC began to investigate Mike Webberley. It has banned him from prescribing sex-change hormones over the internet, one of Gender GP’s main lines of business, and said any such patients must see him in person at his Abergavenny home.

Yes thank fuck.

Popchyk · 25/11/2018 09:32

Did anybody else's blood run cold at this from the first article?

"In Brighton, an LGBT charity called Allsorts Youth Project has launched the UK’s first group for “trans or gender-questioning” children aged 5 to 11. As of March, according to Allsorts documents, it had 27 local members with an average age of nine.

Trans adults facilitate the space in order to give children positive role models,” the documents say. The charity’s Facebook profile picture states: “Allsorts means family.”

Popchyk · 25/11/2018 09:34

Helen Webberley to be sentenced next week.

hiw.org.uk/news/onlinegpprosecution?lang=en

"Both Online GP Services Ltd and Dr Webberley were found guilty at Merthyr Magistrates court today. Sentencing will take place on 3 December 2018."

TallulahWaitingInTheRain · 25/11/2018 09:35

What a round-up! Thanks OP.

The article by by AG should be required reading for MPs

LordProfFekkoThePenguinPhD · 25/11/2018 09:35

Is it likely to be custodial? I’m assuming she will be struck off.

OrchidInTheSun · 25/11/2018 09:36

Social contagion is clearly at work:

"Intriguingly, in every year for the past five, the NHS area covering Surrey, Kent and Sussex, which includes Brighton, has sent more children to Carmichael’s service than the whole of Greater London — although it has half the population."

RepealTheGRA · 25/11/2018 09:38

My blood too ran cold. We learnt NOTHING from Savile.

LangCleg · 25/11/2018 09:41

Some very good comments on those articles. Compared to a year ago, the comments are all very informed - Times readers have gone and done their research.

What do we need to see here? We see a repeat pattern, we know this pattern, that to gain access to children, for whatever ideological reasons, those that wish to, first of all go for the institutions, and then they go for the parents, and dismantle those gatekeepers, so they are in the schools, they have also managed to suggest that against all previous safeguarding guidelines appropriate for children, that PARENTS SHOULD NOT BE TOLD. Hmmm, I'd be very suspicious

Ouch.

Iused2BanOptimist · 25/11/2018 09:41

Thanks for this. Teen is having her friends over on Tuesday. Last time they came I overheard them discussing someone who was now a boy and couldn't help but burst in and let them know humans can't change sex. They laughed nervously and teen later told me how embarrassing I was. Grin
Anyway they are risking another visit - a good chocolate cake always tempts!
So I shall be more subtle this time - a copy of today's Times lying open strategically I think. Wink

LordProfFekkoThePenguinPhD · 25/11/2018 09:44

Our school recently have Vomit and Bile (or whatever creature names they have) speak at the school.

DS has my full opinion on the subject. He knows biology.
