Middle name for Persephone...?

Any ideas? Our surname is a double barrel along the lines of Watson-Ingram (but more unusual)

We were thinking of Imogen? But maybe something shorter would be better.

Iris?

fanjodisfunction · 04/08/2012 16:07

I think Imogen goes very well with Persephone.

(got a problem with double barrelled names reikizen)

mellen · 04/08/2012 16:09

Anne?
Ellen?

Spuddybean · 04/08/2012 16:11

Yes Anne is a choice (Anne Boleyn is a hero of mine). I was also thinking of Tudor.

I like:
Persephone Eve
Persephone Rose
Persephone Grace
Persephone Jane
Persephone Violet
Persephone Alice

May

Spuddybean · 04/08/2012 16:26

Eve is nice, Evelyn was a choice for the 1st name.

Kate

Persephone was on our list for dd1 and dd2, and we also have a double barrelled sure name.

We were going to use Persephone Luna, Persephone Rose or Persephone Jean!

HappyCamel · 04/08/2012 17:12

With such a long first names think a single syllable middle name would be nice. I think Anne is a lovely strong classic choice.

VolAuVent · 04/08/2012 17:46

Persephone Katherine
Persephone Juliet
Persephone Margaret
Persephone Alexandra
Persephone Alice
Persephone Cassia
Persephone Jennifer
Persephone Gloria
Persephone Beatrice
Persephone Matilda
Persephone Victoria
Persephone Georgiana

DumSpiroSpero · 04/08/2012 17:46

The first name that popped into my head was Florence.

theyarebetter · 04/08/2012 17:47

Something short, one syllable, I would think would be best. :)

Spuddybean · 04/08/2012 20:46

Having consulted DP i think the consensus is Persephone Eve.

Thanks guys.

I like Florence, but if we have a boy his middle name will be Floros - after a friend who died this year. So don't want 2 with the floral middle name :)

Puffpants that's a good one Smile

I vote for Eve too. Although I love Evelyn.

LemonLovesLilac · 04/08/2012 21:30

Persephone Juno
Persephone Beatrix
Persephone Celeste

Beautiful name!!

Rainbowsurf · 04/08/2012 21:46

I love Evelyn

DumSpiroSpero · 04/08/2012 22:28

I know a fabulous 4 year old Evelyn. In the 2.5+ years she has been coming into my place of work, I have never seen her without a smile on her face.

There really couldn't be a better advert for the name Smile.

austenozzy · 04/08/2012 22:31

Shazza or Stace would go beautifully.

tiddlypool · 05/08/2012 00:49

Persephone Pretentious Parents would be apt.

EcoLady · 05/08/2012 01:13

She'll be called Percy Phone at school. Pretty name but just too unusual these days.
