Hey hive mind, I need some structurally solid yoga wear.
Im a middle aged menopausal size 16 apple, oh and I can't tolerate man made fabrics ( obviously)..
Have you bought any yoga wear your impressed with.
Ideally I'd like some wide leg trousers that work with chunky shoes and donr expose the belly.
Thanks 😊

@deirdrerasheed I’m a similar age, shape and size to you. I discovered Asquith just before they went out of business a couple of years go, but they fit the bill perfectly. They are now running again, but with a reduced size range, which doesn’t go up to 16. I look out on Vinted!

BAM are ok, but I find their tops short and their waists low, and their sizing a bit small.

Know it's horrendously expensive but I got two pairs of Lululemon yoga pants five years ago and they're brilliant. Still just as stretchy and soft, high waisted so they go over my (permanent) post baby pouch, and they never ever fall down.

Edit: just seen the natural requirement! These don't fulfill that, but I usually hate manmade fibre (itchy, static, sweaty) and the Lululemon align ones don't cause me any issues.

I have the horizon pants, they're great (and on offer). Uniqlo airism used to do great, thick leggings and I usually pair with a cotton vestvor t-shirt. I'm currently doing yoga teacher training and we had quite a discussion about not needing to wear active wear to practise.

Thanks everyone will look into these suggestions. I agree you don't need to wear gym clothing which is restrictive.

Just to add, I wore my Bam yoga pants (same as the ones upthread) to yoga this morning and 3 people asked where I got them. They have quite a few styles on sale atm.

I like Bam tulip pants but find they come up very big and long on my stubby legs, fabric is lovely and soft,I have fibro and there are days when my skin hurts, these are great even on those days.I don’t like tight leggings to practice in.

I have lots of bits from Boody. Bamboo, good quality, wears well.

they have a sale on now.
