Has anyone found success with yoga when they have hip bursitis?
Just trying to stretch and ease up my body more.

I had it last Christmas, stretching can make it worse. The exercises to do can be found online, things like clams, and side lying leg lifts, but put pillow between knees so you don't lower to mid point. Worth seeing a physio as they can give you the volume to do to recover and build up. Pain went quickly, but it stayed tight for a while. Easy to accidentally to do much, which is why 1 or 2 sessions with physio are really worth it.

This is one stretch I've been told is good for hip bursitis.
Is this what you are talking about?
Do you find if you are vey busy one day it can come back...?

I know this is a bit late here, but I've been suffering from hip bursitis for about 6 months.

I saw a physio who gave me a list of exercises to do daily but they didn't really work that well. I then tried some pilates specifically for hip bursitis, which helped a bit but I have, hopefully, begun to make some progress now after discovering a YouTube channel Yoga with Joelle.
She has a whole series of short sessions around 10 mins each with gentle stretches designed specifically for hip bursitis.

I've finally managed to have some uninterrupted sleep and haven't needed to take painkillers. Keeping my fingers crossed that it keeps getting better.
