Yoga with diastasis recti

Hi. I think I have a mildish case of DR. I can fit 2 fingers between my muscles but no more. I am 6 months postpartum and have had two big babies, both c sections. I have not seen anyone about this and have only just realised.

I was doing yoga with Adrienne and loved it. But just read you shouldn't plank or downward dog. I don't have the resources right now to do anything too bespoke. I want to be fit and strong and I know my tummy will not be as it was but I hope it can better than now.

I feel stuck but I don't want to let my tummy languish and blob around.

Thank you!

There's a lot of videos on YouTube about how to correct it. If you can dedicate the time everyday then it could be fixable in just a few weeks.

This is just from what I've researched. I've had my eye on a video from Bodyfit by Amy for so long now but I'm far too disorganised and sleep deprived to stick with it.

Thank you - this is reassuring! I'll have a look in YouTube. I know: so hard to prioritise anything when you are so tired all the time. They will sleep better one day!xx

I am a yoga teacher, and I agree with this article:
