tell a yoga virgin what to expect!

do i take a drink? Towel?

mats are provided.

seriously excited to begin. Love walking, used to run silly mileage until last year. Woke up one morning and decided never to run again.

im not overweight , eat healthily but at 48 im not as supple as i was. Main reason for starting

I would take some water. A blanket might be useful but I’d go along and see first.

I am useless at it but I love yoga. Hope you have a great time.

I would take water. Make sure you wear a top that is fitted. I once wore a baggy t shirt and it was the wrong thing to wear and flapping all over the place,

Don’t worry if you struggle with some of the poses at first. Everyone in class will be at different stages in their practice and some will be recovering from injuries etc. Enjoy!

Oh yes, I’d forgotten that - don’t wear a lovely long floaty top that covers your head and exposes your midriff if your head is lower than your hips ….

I have a tight sport bra (didn’t chuck them out!) and gymshark kit. Really tight to keep the baps in place!

I'm trying to get up the nerve to try out yoga. Sadly I have read too many threads on MN saying yoga classes are full of bitches and I really couldn't face that.
