UK Weekend Yoga Retreat/ On Own/ Suggested hotels in middle of country

I am now on the hunt for a UK yoga retreat to treat myself to for my upcoming big birthday.

I was wondering if any of you had any recommendations for hotels or retreat places. As a teacher, ideally, I would like to go on a Friday and Saturday night or during the school holidays.

Also, I have been feeling a bit apprehensive about going alone. I don't really have any close female friends to go with due to moving around a lot with my husband's job, and I just want some rest, yoga, and sleep (without snoring!). Do you think it would be a bit odd to go on a retreat alone?

Any suggestions or advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance for your help.

I can't recommend anywhere, but it will be absolutely fine on your own. Anything which is focussed around a common interest like that usually has a lot of solo attendees and you all have a commonality to start off conversation from. I go to quilt retreats, I go back to the same one every year so I know a lot of people now but I didn't know anyone the first time and it was absolutely fine and very friendly.
