Teaching kids yoga

I currently work in a school, and they are always after staff to offer after school clubs for the kids. Would I be mad to consider doing a yoga club? Would I need to be accredited in any way? There wouldn’t be a fee to parents, and I’d imagine it would only be a small group of kids with me and another adult if I can rope one in. I did loads of Cosmic yoga type stuff with my own kids during lockdown and do regular workouts myself. Thanks for any tips / advice!!

I’ve literally only thought of this tonight so possibly am missing something critical 😉

Yes you need to do your children's yoga training, I think it's a 50 hour one.

Do a good training. It’ll give you such a great tool bag
there’s a Facebook group called Kids yoga teachers uk that you might find helpful

Fab thank you.

I've found a couple of organisations that do the training now so have passed it on to my HT!

I've recently done my course with Jess at Childrendoyoga.com.

It's a weekend course with accreditation.

She has her books on Amazon too. I can highly recommend.
