I thought I'd start a thread about the above...anyone like to join in? I do an hour every day - I love it - and have done so for the past year.
Since starting to be more disciplined about it, I've noticed:
- I "get over" minor emotional upsets more quickly / don't hold onto things that cause emotional pain for as long as I used to;
- I have been able to cut contact with a couple of people I consider toxic - I don't miss them and barely think about them any more;
- my waist is really toned
- am 50 and was starting to become a bit apple-shaped but now much more defined around the middle;
- I generally sleep better;
- I am perhaps a bit more patient with my DC;
- I think that the perimenopause stuff - hot flushes etc - are not as bad as a few months ago - but that could be my imagination...
- my skin is better. I'm looking younger - according to friends...
Honestly, I love yoga. I would go so far as to say I am addicted to it!
Anyone else?
