Yoga after abdominal hysterectomy

Hi, does anyone have any experience of doing yoga after an abdominal hysterectomy? I am 6 weeks post op and keen to strengthen my core.

You should take the advice of your surgeon as to when it's safe to resume yoga practice; I did that recently following breast surgery.
And inform your yoga teacher, too, so that they can advise you.

Would it be a similar journey to after a C-section? I've got a post-natal video to try, perhaps you could start with that?
