Yoga Mats

I'm looking at getting a new mat - I'm looking for a nice, grippy one.

I've currently got a Lululemon 3mm one, which I like for grip and thickness, but is looking very tatty after only a couple of years which is disappointing. But they do have a colour out at the moment which I really, really like and keep coming back to look at (shallow).

How do the Liforme mats compare? Are they much bouncier for being a bit thicker?

Also - I'm going on a retreat abroad later in the year and was thinking about getting a travel mat - is it worth it?

My Lifeforme One is lovely, thick and weighty, doesn’t shift or let you slip. A good few years old now, lots of use and no less brilliant.
I just use a thin yoga grip mat for travel, on a carpet it’s absolutely fine.
