Weird feeling during yoga

I have suspected damage to neurones in the left side of my brain, yoga was recommended a good way to reconnect the henispheres of the brain or the neurones or something (doctor speak is hard to understand with a broken brain...).

At yoga last night we were doing alternate nostril breathing, and I swear I could feel the broken neurones in my left side of my brain. It’s like I suddenly had an image of my brain, right side fully functional and left side looking broken.

It really felt real! Has anyone ever visualised an internal injury like that? I wasn’t even thinking about it, just focusing on trying not to feel out of breath from the alternate nostril breathing!

I've noticed my anxiety and 'brain fog' has been much better since I've been doing yoga. I didn't realise how I let it 'rule' me!!
As long as you are feeling ok, just enjoy it Smile

Yoga really does work on the brain, the complex asana give the brain a work out, ‘lighting up’ different areas, it’s unlike other excercise systems, the breathing techniques, mudras and mantra all add together to offer a holistic approach any health problem.
Good luck with it OP.

Try Kirtan Kriya it's a kundalini yoga meditation you can find tutorials on YouTube it's a very effective meditation working the brain.
