Considering running one actually, it's an amazing place. What would you want from an Iceland retreat?

That’s an interesting thought op. I would love to go to Iceland although worried about the cost. Is this the plan for your post redundancy holiday? (sorry, not stalking you, but was on your other thread)

Yes it is post redundancy and big birthday.

From Iceland Id like midnight sun and geothermal springs and nature walks. Lots of outdoor activty and seeing the amazing scenery

It's a shame so many yoga retreats are prohibitively expensive.

Thailand is really good value for yoga retreats as is India. I'm doing a four day retreat in Chiang Rai. The cost is around $400 for four days though you can extend it. Living with the teacher and her dogs at her home. There's a maximum of four people. Can't wait.

I've just come back from an Icelandic holiday and it was just stunning. Need to return ASAP. Yoga isn't really my thing but would imagine Iceland a beautiful setting to practice it. Very expensive though - threre's no getting away from it. :(

Iceland is much cheaper in winter at least for accommodation. We paid around £100 per night in a three star hotel with amazing views of the harbour in March. The price increased to £300 in August.
