Hi all,

I've recently moved to a new area and wanted to continue with my (beginner) yoga practise. I was attending hot yoga before where I live previously and I loved it!
Has anyone had any experience with 'hot pod' yoga? It arrived as an ad on my Instagram and I can't work out if it would be good or if it's a bit gimmicky?
Anyone been??

I go to hotpod yoga. It was my first hot yoga experience and I didn't have any real experience beforehand and i am now completely hooked. I love it. I have an unlimited pass and go as many times as I can. There are no mirrors, the lights are dimmed, there are machines emitting nice scents and the music is good. The teachers are great where I am too. They usually do a free pass or beginners special offer so no harm in giving it a go.

Ooh thanks risotto. One of the things putting me off was imagining that the smell wouldn't be great as I guess I'm picturing it as a big inside out bouncy castle with sweaty walls behhhkkk.
Might have to give it a go but I'm completely new to the town, know no one and get super self conscious and a weeeee bit anxious

Well, I have found it really helpful with stress/anxiety so hopefully you will be able to relax there. I have found it friendly enough. I do tend to make the first move though, just seeing if people have been before, commenting on the killer workout etc. Good luck!
