Post natal Yoga / Pilates

Can anyone recommend a post natal yoga or Pilates DVD?

I'm 3 weeks post birth and want to start doing some gentle workouts. Unfortunately due to a nerve injury to my bladder (an subsequent problems with continence) I don't feel able to go back to my normal classes, therefore need something I can do at home in the short term.

Thanks!

I wouldn't start too much yet. Try walking? I would get your stomach muscles checked out. Mine split when I had my first. I needed physio to reknit them.

Mine were quite badly split too. Waiting for a Physio appt at the mo. Is it not recommended to start any exercises yet then?

Trouble with walking is due to my bladder problems I can't go any distance with leaking so I'm quite limited.

Am getting bored with endless rounds of pelvic floor exercises!!

Hi lovelies,

I am starting a Mummy (OR Daddy) and Baby Yoga Class Wednesdays (STARTING TOMORROW) Wednesday 3rd May at Zen Yoga in Camberwell, just round the corner from Kings.

Class is £10, email me/ message me to book your place. 11am for 1 hour. All props provided for you and baby, just bring usual things you need for feeding (muslins, bottles, boobs) and we will ease through a lovely postnatal session for YOU that engages the bubbas too.

Hope to see you there!

Lucy
