Hello, just joined Mumsnet after a friend recommended it to me at our yoga class last night. So here I am!

Myself and friend started Vinyasa yoga 3 weeks ago. We go on a Monday and Wednesday evening. I'm loving it! Ache the next day but it's totally relaxing.

I just wondered though, can you recommend any YouTube channels or the like that I can do during the gaps before next class? Or is YouTube not recommended?

Hope that makes sense, it's been a long day....

I love Vinyasa, too Smile If you go regularly, you will be surprised at how strong & flexible you will get.

On YouTube, Adrienne gets a lot of love on this board. Search YouTube for "Yoga with Adrienne" and you can't miss her channel. Otherwise, just search YouTube videos for "beginner Vinyasa" and you should find many channels to your liking. Each teacher has a different style and what suits you will not necessary be someone else's favourite.

A word of warning, though: I know that you are enthusiastic and probably want to do it every day because it feels so great, but the fact that your body is aching the next day means it needs time to recover. Maybe add 1 more day of practice into your week (Saturday?) and leave it at that for at least several months.

Thank you so much for your advice, I really appreciate it! I will have a look for her on YouTube.

Good point about a rest. I wasn't thinking of everyday but I thought I would add another day or two in? Only quick bursts of 20 mins or so, what do you think?

Thanks again!
