Help me find the ideal yoga pants (crops, really)

Requirements:

• Not too warm

• High-waisted to avoid muffin top look

• Comfortable (obviously)

• No garish colors and/or strange designs

Any ideas?

I have tried a few brands, and I always come back to H&M sportswear for yoga pants. They're reasonably cheap, and come in some cool colours/patterns as well as plainer designs.

Oops - just saw that you don't want garish colours! H&M does have plain ones. Most of mine are black & gray.

I have a dark blue (almost black) one that I really like but it's a bit large on the waist and so I have to keep pulling it up during practice.

I want to go easy on the colors because most of the time I end up wearing the yoga pants all day so would like them to work with normal clothes.

Every once in a while aldi do yoga clothes, I have some cropped leggings from there that are almost exactly the same as the ones I have from sweaty Betty but they only cost £5.99!
They are high waisted and don't go baggy, but they are not really suitable for ashtanga yoga or classes where you sweat a lot as they are thick material and get a bit hot

Hot can get really hot where we live, so I would not be tempted by thick yoga pants. It gets warm enough in the studio even in winter.

How would you compare Sweaty Betty with Lululemon? (sizes, quality, etc). I like Lulu but never tried anything from Sweaty Betty on. Their stuff looks lovely online, though.
