Asymmetric bodies?

I know all our bodies are asymmetric but is anyone else serious lop-sided?

I really favour my right foot forward in other sports and my right hip/glute is stronger than my left.
When I lie with the soles of my feet together my left knee is about half as far from the mat as my right.

Anyone else got tales of asymmetry or ideas for countering it???

My two sides are also quite different. Especially in forward bends, I am much more flexible (able to touch my face to knee) on the left side.

I have been told that I have a slight scoliosis, which might be why I bend easier towards the left. Also, one leg is slightly longer than the other, which is probably related. I have DD (born 4 kg) to thank for all that Smile

Yes! Left hand ALWAYS lands slightly further forward than right in down dog. Feels wrong when I make them parallel!
