Hi,
just needing a bit moral support! I work for a large corporate and i have always worked full time (or not at all lol).

I am due to return in Sep and I have decided after a lot of thinking, discussing, etc to go back 3 days.

It's been a tough decision so I am hoping they will say yes. I need to talk to my line manager next week, really hope it happens now.

With 4 children 5 and under I know it will be tough enough going back 3 days.....

Just really wanted to say I hope they say yes!!!!!

Best of luck. :-)

Now, tell me, what are the advantages that you saw on working just 3 days? (just got a part time job and trying to decide whether to spread the hours over 3 days, or just work 3 full days...)

Well I thought of doing less hours over 4 or 5 days but then that would mean I never get to do anything much with the little ones.

the idea is that I get a couple of days in the week to go off and spend some time with the 1 year old and 2 and half year old!

Also more time to unwind and forget about the job (hopefully).

Then when DS2 goes to playschool I will have a bit of one to one with the baby.

Not sure if this is ideal of course, but there have been a few threads on here about this before and most people recommended 3 days as the best compromise!!!!

My child is already in school, but is not doing very well at the moment... hmm... not sure. But certainly having those 2 mornings free seems tempting... I could do all the cooking for the day in one and other household shores on the other one to clear the afternoons and weekend for nicer activities...

Thank you
