P.S. I think that women are amazing at networking, just more laterally than men, not "in for the kill". I get 95% of my graphic design work from personal and networking contacts!

I just hate going to conferences etc and having to 'work the room'. Just not my sort of thing. Get on really well with people that i meet through work on projects etc, but all that schmoozing is just not my cup of tea.

Sorry and should also say, also think it is a very good article and very true; agree with vitality that there are different ways of networking.....
