Managed to get a bank shift today for my ward tomorrow. Desperately needed to as have run out of cash but now feeling really that my time off with my lovely DS has come to an end. Am dreading leaving him.

WK, bless you, thank you for remembering me! yes I did do my shift and I really enjoyed it! have been really tired today, but my darling baby boy played in his cot contentedly for well over an hour this morning and I didn't wake untill 9.40! Bless him. My patient survived and nobody laughed at me for not remembering things - I did remember far more than I thought.

How has your first week been? Are you doing full time or part time, I haven't asked before sorry!

My first week was great but I'm utterly shattered. Had a really good trainer and some really nice people in the group, really friendly and great to have some normal conversation every day!!! Starting properly as from Monday - really looking forward to it!!! And have used far too many reallys already

Oops, and its almost full time but funny hours which work quite well so each week I see dd all morning or all late afternoon/evening, so better than 9-5 for me.

Well think I might have gone overboard! Dp has two weeks off so have booked shifts for Friday, Saturday day shifts, and a night shift on Sunday. OMG! Bound to get cancelled for on of them though. Also the possibility of working weds night too. My start back at work date has bee brought forward to next week as I have lots of holiday to take, so might actually help sort my finances out a bit!
