Does anyone know of any teacher who has requested or taken unpaid parental leave during term time? I know that employers can ask you to defer your leave to a more convenient time (except in the case of a birth) but can they get around it at all.
When the leave was first introduced I remember reading something in the TES about how schools were using a loophole to make teachers take it in the holidays but not sure how.
