Has the recession forced you to cut your maternity leave short?

Am curious - has anyone been forced to cut their maternity leave short and return to work sooner than they'd originally planned because of the recession?

Only that might help explain why nurseries are so rammed near me. I'd be really interested if anyone could tell me. Thanks.

opposite for me! Am fundraiser, so instead of going back when my smp ran out (9mths) I'm taking the year, in the hope that things start to look a bit more positive for potential funders.
