On yet another recruitment drive - I wish I did this less often

I hate it

I am bad at it

I am a (fairly) good boss but I had to make people redundant last year which has made any new recruitment I have done this year so much harder (emotionally for me)

I get very stressed & I get cross with myself for feeling this way

bloody hell think how I feel it's what I do all day!!

Katymac · 07/09/2009 21:25

Really?

Just employing people?

Do you worry about their expectations & how their personalities will fit & if they will like the cat & will they treat the babies properly & if they can cope with DH's grumpiness?

Actually you probably don't but managing expectations is hard imo

Ronaldinhio · 07/09/2009 22:35

does anything ever?

Katymac · 08/09/2009 07:05

Oh great - that fills me with hope & anticipation if you 'experts' don't manage either

could you reemploy any you made redundant?

Katymac · 08/09/2009 07:56

No they all got excellent jobs (based on their experience/training here & the reference I gave them )

But I did try that
