I am currently on long term sick leave ( due to work stress). My full pay sick leave has just come to an end and I am advised by my company that I will now be on statutory sick pay. I have been given the options of coninuing to have childcare vouchers deducted from this or to opt out of the childcare voucher scheme. Any idea whats best to do?

Far as I am aware you don't have an option at all, it's not possible for your employer to deduct money from SSP under a salary sacrifice scheme. See here, it's guidance about salary sacrifice and SMP but if you look at the last paragraph of page 7, it confirms that salary sacrifice deductions cannot be made from SSP either.

Seems to me the options are either you opt out of the scheme altogether or your employer temporarily suspend it or something while you are off sick.
