Ok. I give in, I can see that despite having a good degree and lots of experience in my chosen field I am not going to get a job just by applying or sending CV off. I realise that as things stand in this country at the moment its not what you know, its who you know. There is the problem-I don't really know that many people. I have spent years studying as a mature student, lived abroad for a few years and lost contact with all my old colleagues.
I am also an unpaid carer for my mum, so socially I have been restricted for a good 5 years. How do I start networking??
P.s I'm really not a nasty, miserable old hag, just not great at keeping in touch with people
