got an interview for job - salary £15000 to £23000 depending on experience and qualifications

IT is for an NVQ assessor job in health and social care.
They want ideally a trained assessor but will train you if necesssary, wiling to work towards a teaching qualification and exp in health sector and level 3 qualifcation.
I have a teaching qualification, level 5 nursing qualification, I am two months from being qualified as assessor and I have almost a decade working as a staff nurse.

What is a realistic wage to expect. I am currently on £25000 basic and know I will have to drop quite a bit but do not mind as keen to go into assessing

any advice appreciated

our nvq assessors sit at nhs band 4 and don't normally have a professional nursing qual so start at the bottom. from what you have said i think mid way would be about right, though its the experience as an assessor that you are limited with so think that will be the key to holding back on pay.

whats the teaching qual? 998 or something more general?

I'd love to be a sole nvq assessor rather than addition to my current role - candidates don't enough support

at my hospital assessor are band 5. I was hoping for £19000 b4 i get assessor award and £20000 when not trained. If it is any less, i think i will hold out for a position to come up in NHS. This interview is for private training company.

i have got the PTLLS (general teaching qualification) and 998 equivalent aswell
