Accountants - any of you use Iris?

I'm idly thinking about setting up on my own. We use Iris at work and I'm trying to find out how much it costs. Clearly I can't go and ask at work!

Can anyone give me an idea of how much the most basic bookkeeping, tax and accounts prep packages cost?

They do special deals for sole/small practices - from as little as £3 per working day, apparently.

Yeah I saw that, I suppose I was wondering what the £3 per day actually gave you.

we use iris, no idea on the cost, but I know my firm were moaning how much it is as for a very long time they got a massive discount, because back in the very beginning we used to be their accountants! But that was many moons ago, I think it's been sold on lots of times since. Great system though.
