Interview presentation in the subject of my choice, arggh!

I have an interview next week for a sales role and have to give a 10 min presentation on 'anything'. This is turning out to be more difficult than I thought, as most of my spare time is spent with ds, and my hobby (water skiing) whilst exciting to do, isn't really very interesting to talk about or describe (I've been trying to do that in my head all day!).

If anyone has had a similar situation, please would you let me know what you talked about?

TIA

Hi, I had to do this a few years back and also found it difficult to choose a subject. In the end, I gave a presentation to do with my job, rather than talk about one of my hobbies. I ran through the presentation a few times with my husband (totally boring him in the process, no doubt).

Good luck!

I sat on the interview panel for one of these once. Let's just say that the folk who gave a fairly serious talk on something to do with the job went down an awful lot better than the ones who wittered about their pets/ hobbies/ what they would do if they won the lottery. One woman even presented on the plot line in Coronation Street She didn't get the job.

For example, think along the lines of eg.

What is a good sales person
Why I love sales and want this job
What is the best sales pitch I have given- and how it worked
How I can help your company
Something current affairsy to do with the company

....That kind of thing. I'm sure the exact title isn't there, but think in that vein. Oh, and good luck!
