If you don't mind me asking!!

Just want to know if my compnay is justified in saying that most companies are giving low payrises this year.

5%

babyOcho · 14/02/2009 18:08

Flat, no pay rises in my company.

OrmIrian · 14/02/2009 18:09

No. And we won't. And if things don't pick up we won't have jobs by the summer. So payrise is immaterial.

pay freeze grr. dh has got three per cent tho, god knows how as his company is in worse state than mine. think some employers are definitely using recession as an excuse.

ByThePowerOfGreyskull · 14/02/2009 22:03

Dh is on a pay freeze same for all of his company

hermionegrangerat34 · 17/02/2009 19:54

Dh and whole company just heard - pay freeze. Dh NOT impressed as he had an excellent personal review and was expecting promotion, but even if promoted won't get a pay rise!

HappyWoman · 18/02/2009 08:11

DH moved company and so in effect has got an increase but in his previous company they were asking everyone to take a 5-10%cut.

I am about to get 25% more which is nice but i only get by the hour so if things slow down i wont get any more. (however at the moment these does not seem to be a slow down for me).

bodiddly · 18/02/2009 08:47

none

JulesJules · 18/02/2009 08:57

DH on pay freeze. I was made redundant.
2% sounds fantastic

grendel · 18/02/2009 23:02

No pay rise this year, and may well be out of work shortly as company is in financial difficulties.

daysoftheweek · 18/02/2009 23:05

1% last year don't think they've announced this years yet.

BoffinMum · 21/02/2009 12:20

5% linked to RPI in September 2008.
