A sympathy thread: I think I fluffed it.

I had an interview this morning. I am a SAHM who has been out of the swing of things for about 2 years, in a fast-moving techological environment. I had an interview this morning and feel I was very vague and woolley. I think I fluffed it.

Oh dear, what a boring thread to start!

I will know by the end of the week. If I get the job it will be a big whoopie! And I will treat myself to a new handbag.

If not, it merely confirms I am a wool-brained dunce

ooooh do you need help in the 'what shall I wear to work?' thing??

What is the job?

Can you get away with Tesco trews or do you need to be in Jaegar??

I think I will have to start a new thread appealing for help in the workwear dept.

I am not sure what the dress code is, it's in software development, and possible I will be with some backroom techies (who probably can't talk, have no girlfriends and wear grubby jeans and heavy metal t-shirts) but will not be joining them in their sartorial choices! Hopefully I will see the light of day most of the time and will need to consult with clients etc. I tend to err on the side of smartness anyway, it can then be toned down with a t shirt type top instead of a shirt. But will need to consult the collective wisdom of MN all the same.

Oh wow! MRsSB, that is MARVELLOUS! Well done and congratulations.

Ner, nerr, told you so! Remember the fuck up feeling=success reality rule!
