Does anyone have a standard contract they would be willing to share?

Hi

I have realised I need to have a proper (but simple) contract with potential clients. I'm in copywriting and PR. Just something to say how we will do things, when they should pay, how we do approvals etc. I asked Business Link but they just have advice sheets. I was wondering if any of you have one you use successfully?

Mine would be no good to you. It's very specific and because what I do involves giving a lot of legal advice it's quite lengthy and legally iykwim. Not what you need.

Bump for you though.

Have you tried googling? I found a few that way. Didn't use any of them but they were good as a reminder of what to include.

Or sometimes companies offering a similar service have their standard t&cs on their website.

Have you checked out The Contract Store?

Also, the National Union of Journalists has some very useful info for freelances on rates, contracts etc.
