Going back to work after claiming income support - would I lose my

current benefits which are

income support
child tax credit
Get rent/council tax paid.

I will be working 16 hours a week - I know what I earn wont cover the rent.

Will I be better or worse off. I will get working tax credits and help towards childcare though.

You will lose your Income Support.

You may possibly still get some of your rent and council tax paid but this really depends on exactly how much you would earn and exactly how much your rent is.

You would keep your CTC and also qualify for WTC.
