Hope not, PW. And seriously doubt it from the high quality of your posts and the fact that you are being positive and encouraging to someone thinking about entering the profession! The incompetent gorgons in question would not have been so helpful, I'd hazard. As I say, some of the students who had bad placements were people I'd predict would be likely make heavy weather of anywhere and to be difficult for anyone to manage. But others really did appear to have had their lives made hell for 8/10 months by practice assessors with very difficult personalities.
