i have two dd's a almost 3yr old (dec) and a 1yr old. i've worked at airport since 2003 i love my job and i work opposites to my husband who also works there. i currently do 15 hours a week. its getting bit rocky with our employer and looks like we are going to be having job cuts. i want to get a career when i can go somewhere and child care is easier to arrange. i'm 23Soon to turn 24 I am bright confident work hard and desperate to succeed and go places... Now for The bad bit I left school and went straight to hairdressing nothing wrong with that my mum has a very successful career ...but it means I have No qualifications.

I currently earn about 600 a month and don't need child care. how much should i be budgeting for child care for two? i'm hoping to be left with a bit more than i take home now.

sorry for confusing post i've done it From my mobile!

I know this is not helpful, BUT asking asking about cost of childcare without knowing more (e.g. where you live, etc) is like asking how long is piece of string...
In London, for example, paying for CM or nursery for 2 children, full time, would probably cost something like £1500 per month. It really depends on so many different things...

my local nursey charges £34 per day per child where as my childminder charges £27 a day. sometimes they offer discounts for more than one child.
