should i do a three day prince2 foundation course paid for by me

is a 995 + VAT cost reasonable

and is there any point doing the foundattion course with the idea of maybe doing practitioner once i have a job

and how hard is it are there any special requirements are knowledge i would need first

like using access or anything

and will my brain just explode

Just asked my DH who has done both, and he says you're being ripped off if that's what they're charging. He says you can do all-in-one foundation & practitioner courses that take 5 days in total and cost just over a grand. Have a really good shop around before you choose a course. It is a useful (often essential) qualification if you want to get a senior role in project management, but if that's not your bag, there are probably better things to do.

Yes I agree, hadn't noticed the cost there. I did mine with Maven www.maventraining.co.uk/ who were excellent (lots of colleagues used the too), and they are offering the 5 day course for about a grand. Still a big investment though.
