What qualifications do you need?

Is it fun?
Is it well paid?

Is it connected to Systems Management or Systems Development?

No problem - good luck with it

As far as training goes it's either Prince 2 for UK public sector or APMP for both public and private sector. just google it, you'll find training courses.

dh does project management in it industry and it is very technical.

Not looking specifically at IT - more at systems as a whle for which IT is a part (often a big part)
