Sounds simple right? wrong! I cant seem to find where I look for these type of jobs (customer service/ telephone type roles) does anyone have any recommendations?

You will struggle to find fully remote roles. Most will want a hybrid arrangement especially when there is additional training involved.

indeed has the options for you to select remote but they tend to be higher up the chain roles.

Go to indeed and type in fully remote call centre. I get 10 vacancies. Not difficult at all.

I also asked Chat GPT and she gave me a nice list too and how to search.

Question. Why do you want to work from home? It can be a fairly isolating and depressing experience especially in customer services. Having a supportive team around you really helps deal with any psychological impacts of unpleasant interactions and allows you to ask questions and get support on the hop.
Also if you are planning to do this to save on childcare most fully remote contracts will expect you to sign something to say that you will have childcare in place for the duration of a shift and they may not be timed around school/childcare drop offs.
Indeed most fully remote jobs will be for unsocial hour shifts. Expect very early mornings blended with late nights and weekends. Plum shifts with flexible daytime hours will be reserved for those who are present in the call centre itself or those who have been there a while.
As PPs have said. Even fully remote jobs are likely to have training weeks or specific days when you are expected to be in the office.
Also they still need to check your output and hours so expect significant monitoring of your every move.

I started off working at my job in an office and then requested remote working. It can be easier to do it that way once you have proven yourself. I work just as long hours at home as I did in the office, just without the commute.
